The Novice Division is intended for NOVICE players who have zero to limited (No more than 4) tournament experience. If you have competed in the LSC 2022 and won your division or a NATIONAL EVENT you do NOT qualify for the Novice Division. If you sign up for a NOVICE division and you have attended a national event, you will NOT receive a refund for the division. No refunds after 1/31/23.

(Every effort will be made to provide every player an equable division. In the case of being uncontested, exhibition fights will be available.)

Junior Boys: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16

Junior Boys Novice (white and yellow belts): 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16

Junior Girls: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16

Junior Girls Novice: (white and yellow belts): 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16

Senior Men Novice (under Sankyu): 130, 150, 170, 190, 210, 210+

Senior Women Novice (under Sankyu): 120, 140, 160, 160+

Senior Men’s Masters: 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ (Divisions will be created based on registration.)

Senior Men’s Masters Novice: (30+ years with a rank of green or below) TBD

Senior Women’s Masters: TBD

Senior Men: 60kg, 66kg, 73kg, 81kg, 90kg, 100kg, 100+kg

Senior Women: 48kg, 52kg, 57kg, 63kg, 70kg, 78kg, 78+kgse.
