Open Mat Judo Practice for Sr. Nationals and Golden State Open

A series of Open Mat Sessions will be held at Shimeru Judo & Jiu-Jitsu Club beginning in April. These sessions will be open to Cadet, IJF Junior, Senior and Veteran athletes who are preparing to compete at the Sr. Nationals and Golden State Open Championships in May.

Dates:

Saturday, April 6th                                              12:00pm-2:00pm

Saturday, April 20th                                            12:00pm-2:00pm

Saturday, May 11th                                             12:00pm-2:00pm

We also want to notify the judo community that there will also be open mat sessions at Orange County Judo Training Center on Friday April 12th, May 3rd and May 17th between 7:30pm-9:30pm.  To attend those sessions, please reach out to Sensei Juan Montenegro at [email protected]

Location:   Shimeru Judo & Jiu-Jitsu Club, 17600 Collier Ave. Ste. D129 Lake Elsinore, CA 92530.  Located in the Outlets at Lake Elsinore

Sanction: Thee Shimeru open mat sessions are sanctioned by USA Judo. You must be an active member of USA Judo to attend these sessions. You can learn about your options to become a member at the following link:

Costs:  These sessions are free to the participants. Open to USA Judo members who are competitors in the Cadet, IJF Junior, Senior and Veterans categories. Please only sign up for the sessions that you plan on attending.
